Rugby – Episode 18.1
South Africa is the backdrop for our lesson on teamwork. The Hilton College 2nd Rugby team invited Chad to participate with them in a pre-game scrimmage before their battle against rival school Kearsney. This Hilton-Kearsney rivalry is one that has been going for over 100 years.
As these guys pound Chad into submission, the real focus is on the upcoming game. Having trained as a team for months, their combined efforts as a well-oiled team are about to be put to the test. Will the team prevail or will the team be defeated because they choose to play this game as individuals?
Wildlife – Episode 18.2
South Africa continues as our backdrop for our lighthearted look at creation, life, animals and the African outback. The word Safari has its origins in the Arabic word “Safara” meaning travel.
As Chad begins his journey into the African bush he gains a greater understanding of God’s detailed plan of creation and that His involvement in creation is obvious to anyone who chooses to look with the eyes of faith. It is within this colorful panorama, that we can glean truths from some very unexpected scenarios. From the foolish monkey, to the majestic white Rhino, God affords us the opportunity to learn more about Him and ourselves by the often-ignored examples found in nature.
